One of my recent "On" articles was about dreams. Common dreams include the test for a class you've never attended, finding yourself undressed in the wrong place, and flying as freely as the birds.
In November, I taught a class in Mexico City. My hosts were Amelia Guajardo and her husband, Eduardo. Over dinner, I mentioned the article about dreams. Eduardo asked "Would you like to have the flying dream come true?" The next morning, I found myself buckled into the seat of his ultralight airplane.
