The Flying Dream Comes True

One of my recent "On" articles was about dreams.  Common dreams include the test for a class you've never attended, finding yourself undressed in the wrong place, and flying as freely as the birds.

In November, I taught a class in Mexico City.  My hosts were Amelia Guajardo and her husband, Eduardo.  Over dinner, I mentioned the article about dreams.  Eduardo asked "Would you like to have the flying dream come true?"  The next morning, I found myself buckled into the seat of his ultralight airplane.

It was a thrilling experience!  Here are a few photos

Me, again, with students.
