Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and forget everything you know about piecing a Double Wedding Ring quilt.  But rest assured, you will wind up with essentially the same result.  You'll get there by a very different path that is faster and far less frustrating.  Through the magic of appliqué using fusible interfacing, you'll still get all those curves, but without curved piecing.

Cut fabrics and interfacing.

Stitch fabric wedges together, then stitch interfacing to the fabric

Trim seam allowances.   Turn right side out.

Fuse arcs to background square.

Zigzag stitch arcs to background.  Add corner triangles.

Sew blocks together in rows and columns.  Quilt and bind
